Yamaha announces ALLM & VRR support to enhance gaming

Yamaha has released a firmware update for a selection of its AV receivers to add support for Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) and Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM).

The update features joins 4K 120Hz and 8K 60Hz resolutions and refresh rates, enhancing the gaming experience.

The firmware update is available for the RX-V4A, RX-V6A, RX-A2A, RX-A4A, RX-A6A, and RX-A8A AV Receivers.

The update is available to download through the MusicCast app.
