Wisdom Audio is expanding its focus on architectural audio with the forthcoming Insight P3m Series, a customisable passive loudspeaker series.
Debuting at CEDIA Expo, the P3m range will comprise vertical and horizontal mono, stereo L&R, and LCR configurations, with custom dimensions up to 100inches alongside custom colours.
The speakers are designed for applications where conventional loudspeakers may be difficult to accommodate around displays, or high-end interiors generally.
The launch follows Wisdom's recent introduction of the Sage Series ICS3FR full-range minimal-appearance speaker, engineered for in-ceiling installation with a 6.5-inch woofer and Spiral Planar Magnetic Driver.
Its grille options are designed to match three- and four-inch round or square architectural lighting fixtures, reducing the visual impact of integrated audio.
The two products respond to the tension between high-performance audio and design-led projects, guided by speaker visibility and room aesthetics.
The P3m uses 4.5-inch woofers and a spherical PMD high-frequency driver operating down to 900Hz.
Wisdom's crescent-shaped woofer apertures and patent-pending Dual-Helmholtz Resonators are intended to improve dispersion and reduce unwanted resonances.
